Hosting an event

Welcome to the Dragon Boating WA Inc. (DBWA) webpage for hosting an event.  Dragon boat racing events, whether mainstream, corporate or charity events, are the ultimate team-building day out. Dragon boat racing as a sport is known to bring out competitiveness and boost crew morale through communication and working closely together – while having fun out on the water in the fresh air!

Anyone can take part, but they MUST be recorded on RevSport.

Below are documents that are required when organising a dragon boat event.

Dragon Start, which is free, can be used once for a maximum of one day.  Participants can scan the QR code and enter their details.   Or organisers can use the Dragon Boating WA Event Registration Import Template CSV file in Dragon Start and upload a group of participants into RevSPORT.

Dragon Pass, which is free, can be used for a maximum of 30 days.  Club organisers can load the details of participants into Dragon Pass on RevSPORT.

All events must be sanctioned by DBWA and have a Safe365 checklist inspection record.

These policies have been developed by DBWA and are essential to running an event risk-free in a safe environment.
